TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for purchasing your product with Hilde. Your product is covered by a 1-year warranty period (“warranty period”) covering parts, labour and transport. Hilde warrants to the original retail purchaser (“you”) that its products, removable parts and accessories (“product”) are free from material defects in material, design and workmanship, under normal use in accordance with the operating instructions and pursuant to the following terms and conditions.

Personal data collected as part of warranty registration will only be used and disclosed for purposes related to any servicing requests or requests as part of the warranty.

By registering and signing the warranty, you have agreed to and accepted the following terms and conditions of warranty: –

​

1. Warranty becomes effective only after the product e-warranty form has been duly completed within 14 days from the date of delivery.

2. This warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser who bought the product from any authorised dealer.

3. This warranty is only applicable to you as the purchaser of Hilde product and shall in no circumstance be transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases, leases, or otherwise obtains the product from you, the original purchaser.

4. The warranty shall be valid for a period of 1 year from date of delivery as indicated on your sales invoice and is applicable for products purchased in the Republic of Singapore only.

5. For purchase of Hilde glass hob, warranty for glass top is valid for a period of 1 year. Following which,

  • $80 labour charge is payable on 2nd year

  • $120 replacement of glass and $80 labour charge is payable from 3rd year onwards.

6. The product has been inspected and checked upon delivery and you agree that there were no defects to the product at time of delivery and receipt of product.

7. All defective items must be reported to us within six (6) months from the date of delivery or the warranty shall be void.

8. Any defects discovered after installation should not be caused by reasons including but not limited to:

  • use of improper electrical supply, improper installation, connections to other incompatible equipment, misuse, improper use contrary to cautions / directions as set out in the manual, mishandling and/or consequential damage due to negligence and abuse, installation, repairs, alteration and/or modification by unauthorised organisations or persons

  • dust, interference of foreign objects, natural disaster, lightning, fire, water and/or liquid substances, exposure to sunlight, improper ventilation, drop from height, civil unrest, accident, theft and/or act of God.

9. The original purchase receipt, must be produced upon request by our service personnel during the time of service or repair. Repair / service charges for products without the the original invoice shall be imposed accordingly.

10. The completion of repair / service of your Hilde product shall in no circumstance extend this warranty which shall thereafter continue to apply only for the remaining period of this warranty.

11. In the event that servicing is required, our decision on all questions relating to complaints as a result of defects, either workmanship or materials, shall be conclusive and you shall agree to abide by such a decision. Any unit or defective part which has been replaced shall become our property.

12. When arranging for servicing, the service department will try its best to accommodate to the requested date and time of service but reserves the right to schedule the date and time of service subject to availability on the service timetable. The servicing team reserves the right to impose additional charges or to refuse servicing on products that have been installed in locations which are inaccessible and/or hazardous to our service agents.

13. We reserve the right to charge for labour and transportation charges in the event that no technical fault is detected during service attendance under warranty.

14. We reserve the right at our option and absolute discretion to replace your Hilde product, in lieu of repair, with a similar model of an equivalent or prevailing value without further liability to you in relation to your Hilde product and upon replacement the remaining period of this warranty shall continue to apply to the replacement product.

15. The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Commercial / industrial use

  • Worn out parts due to normal wear and tear, corrosion, rust or stain, scratches and/or dents on the casing or paintwork of the product

  • Claims for missing or damaged parts after purchase

16. Hilde liability under this warranty is limited to repairing and / or replacing defective products only. The purchaser will have no claim under this warranty in respect of personal injury, damages to property or any consequential damage.
